Coffee Shop Festivities

 

The Arty Tea Party Gals set up a Holiday Shop at Hermann's Erie Hotel in Pine Bush NY.  It was a wonderful day with friends...and yes, the snow made it much more festive! 

We'll back there again on Saturday, December 23 for some last minute holiday gifts.  All unique, all handmade!  And of course NINA from HAPPY HERBS SOAP will be there! 

Thanks to Loretta and Robert Rueter, Proprietors of Hermann's for having us.  It was a great time, as always!

Glass painting fun!

The talented chics of the Arty Tea Party Guild are always up to something...and this fine day, under the tutelage of Victoria Carlisi, the painting of anything glass was the project for the day.  Now, sometimes when we gather together for "tea", we are so busy eating and yakking and sipping that the project goes by the wayside...

but not this day! 

 

The gorgeous sunflowers from Nina's garden are the perfect centerpiece for these blue painted beauties.

Giant Pumpkin Party...

The talented chics of the Arty Tea Party are getting ready for the Annual Giant Pumpkin Party in Grahamsville NY....Sat. Oct. 7!  Of course the unseasonable 90 degree temps this week, are not coinciding with this old photo of me all wrapped up in cold weather attire! 

Nina of Happy Herbs Soap at Two Crow Cottage will be showing off her "witchbaby brooms" to all who wish to fly off for the day in their costumes.  Her magickal botanickal incense will just take you to another place...it's wonderful!  And of course, the smell of her HAPPY HERBS SOAP and oils will complete your day.

There is a very nice assortment of these handmade journals ...all one of a kind to choose from, to keep your secrets, or write your own short story.  With coffee dyed pages, tags and tuck spots, a fantastic fiberfest, for sure!

And of course, on display will be the fabulous Stained Glass Creations by Judie, some Mixed Media Art by Kitty, Paintings by Victoria and the wonderful Coiled Rope Art by Andrea Spadola, all of which you will find throughout previous posts here at the Arty Tea Party blog!

Stained Glass Horsehead by Judie

For starters, Judie makes 2 copies of the pattern, 1 pattern is cut into pieces to cut the glass.

She has a wide variety of gorgeous glass to choose from for all of her designs.  And this horsehead will be mighty proud strutting around outside of the barn.

Once all of the pieces of glass have been cut out, it is time for the copper tape.

All copper taped, and ready for flux and solder!
