TEA PARTY FUN!

Well Tea Partiers...it was another fabulous day at the incredible Crans Mill Studio. Everyone was busy, busy, busy with their own works of creativity. Judie amazed even herself when she became aware of the "negative space" surrounding her pitcher/vase. It was a beauty! And thank you for the sea treasures. Nice to see Lucy finally join us at the studio where she worked on ATC's and Envies. Lovely Christine was so inspired by her first visit to the tea, that she couldn't resist another go at it with us to learn new tricks and techniques. Andrea has been very into the quilting and fabric textures with her embroidery and stitching of envies and ATC's. I absolutely love the ones I received from her. I look at them daily to keep myself inspired:) Alicia made everyone laugh with her interpretation of the ATC theme of the month: BUGS! Her drawing of the VW Classic was a real show stopper. Miss Rosebud Sandy, who never travels light, shared her vast array of twirly-swirly rubber stamps with the giant stamp pad. And she brought abit of her mother to share with everyone, as she has been sorting through mountains of craft supplies that have been stored in abundance at mom's house.

As usual, Michelle, our wonderful HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTEST, makes us all smile with the melting beeswax pot, always at the ready, the hot glue gun aimed to please, and the endless supply of paints, markers, brushes, glitters, papers, and envelopes galore! The studio with that fabulous mountain view is the most inspirational place to create art! TO PEACOCK PRIDE;)

Next Tea Party is at Andrea's for Bentwood creations. Bring your own tools, and anything you may want to incorporate into your design. Dried flowers, vines, etc. Wire and twine would be useful, too. Thursday May 13, same time. ATC theme chosen by Andrea is CHILDREN! (Nina will be thrilled with that one.) And don't forget the goodies! Food and drink make for a fun time!

Until we meet again, I remain affectionately yours,

Vicki (making items outofhand to benefit the upcoming Relay for Life) Check out my blog for those items.
